Comms mentoring and 121 strategic support
services
Sometimes you don’t need a rebrand, a strategy document or a new agency. You need space to think - with someone who understands communications in practice, not just in theory.
Working in communications can be isolating. You’re expected to think strategically, deliver consistently, manage stakeholders and keep everything ticking - often without much space to talk things through.
This 1:1 mentoring and communications support is for people who don’t want to carry that alone. It combines mentoring with structured strategic thinking, grounded in real-world charity communications experience.
What this support looks like
These offers combine mentoring with practical, structured communications support.
It’s designed to flex around you and your role, but typically includes:
Regular 1:1 check-ins (monthly or fortnightly)
Mentoring focused on your confidence, development and decision-making
Space to talk through challenges as they happen - not just in hindsight
Practical comms support, such as sense-checking ideas, planning next steps or troubleshooting tricky situations
A friendly but honest voice in your corner (including reminders to log off on time)
It’s not about doing the work for you. It’s about supporting you through it.
