Comms mentoring & advisory
services
Sometimes you don’t need a rebrand, a strategy document or a new agency. You need space to think - with someone who understands communications in practice, not just in theory.
I offer one-to-one comms mentoring and communications advisory for people working in charities, purpose-led organisations, small teams and founder-led businesses.
This support is especially popular with people who need senior communications input but don’t need - or can’t justify - a full-time Head of Comms.
Who this is for?
This comms mentoring and advisory works best if you’re:
Working in charity or non-profit communications
Part of a purpose-led organisation or social enterprise
A founder or small business owner managing your own comms
A solo comms lead or small team marketer
Stepping into more senior responsibility without much support
Many people come to me after outgrowing general mentoring schemes or when they want more tailored, ongoing communications support.
What we can work through together:
-

Sense-checking communications strategies and plans
-

Deciding priorities when time and budget are tight
-

Handling pushback from senior stakeholders or boards
-

Moving from reactive delivery to more strategic communications
-

Communications confidence and decision-making
-

Career progression within charity or purpose-led communications
How it works
One-to-one mentoring and advisory sessions
60-minute Zoom calls
Agenda set by you
Honest, practical discussion grounded in experience
Sessions are typically £90–£120, depending on format. If you’d like continuity, I also offer discounted bundles of multiple sessions.
Numbers are intentionally limited so I can give each session my full attention.
This isn’t therapy or formal coaching. It’s professional comms mentoring and advisory - focused on building confidence and better decision-making.
Why work with me?
I’ve spent over a decade working in senior communications roles across charities and purpose-led organisations, alongside freelance work supporting small teams, founders and values-driven businesses. That means:
I understand the reality of limited budgets and capacity
I’ve navigated complex stakeholders and competing priorities
I focus on what will actually make a difference
This is about practical, thoughtful support - not theory or trends.
