IN SHORT
What The Good Comms Club™ is…
The Good Comms Club™ is a membership community for charity communications teams, run by charity comms consultant Abi Aldridge.
Every Monday, members get five prompts in Slack drawn from across content, press, policy, brand and digital. Membership also includes a private moderated Slack community, quarterly live webinars, a growing library of resources, discounted one-to-one Power Hours, and a weekly Ask Me Anything thread.
Membership costs £90 for three months or £270 for a year, and is open to charities, CICs and mission-led organisations. It's designed for people who do their organisation's comms without a full team behind them - no marketing degree required.

THE WEEKLY FIVE
Five things to think about, not fifty
You don't need more ideas. You need someone who's worked across the full comms spectrum to hand you a plan - and a room full of people who get it.
-
Content ideas
Impact posts, plain-English explainers, ways to support, case studies, team spotlights.
-
Seasonal & sector moments
A heads-up on what's coming, and whether it's worth building something around.
-
Brand & digital checks
Website copy, tone-of-voice consistency, an email or newsletter nudge.
-
Housekeeping
Bio links, pinned posts, donate page, hashtags, About sections.
-
Trends
Formats and themes worth trying, when they suit your charity's tone.
It’s a menu, not a to-do list.
Some weeks that’s a spread across all five. Other weeks it’s five content ideas and nothing else. I’ll also share good things as I spot them - a great post from another charity, a useful sector resource, or a tool worth knowing about…
HOW IT WORKS
Three steps and you’re in
-
Join
Sign up and you’re in the members’ area within minutes, with a welcome page walking you through everything.
-
Get your five
Every Monday, five prompts land in Slack, covering the full comms spectrum - not just social content.
-
Show up
Ask questions, share wins, borrow ideas. I’m in there too, along with quarterly webinars and discounted Power Hours when you need more than a Slack thread.
BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF
Is this your kind of thing?
This is for you if…
- You’re the only person doing comms (or close to it) at your charity, CIC or good-cause organisation
- You open the scheduling tool and just… stare
- Generic marketing advice doesn’t translate to your world – donate buttons, safeguarding lines, trustees who don’t like emojis
- You’ve watched other charities’ comms and wondered what they know that you don’t
- You want structure without rigidity – a plan, not a script
- You’d rather ask a room of peers than Google (or ChatGPT!) “is this the right call”
It’s probably not for you if…
- You want a done-for-you comms agency – this is peer support and prompts, not outsourcing
- You’re looking for generic, industry-agnostic marketing advice
